Da Capo II

I’ve watched the first series and I moderately enjoyed it. I stopped watching the second season in the middle because I couldn’t stand this certain character whom I don’t remember the name of. And since several things such as games, anime, and movies crappier when a sequel or a continuation is followed. I truly don’t expect much from it. But being a sucker for harem anime, I have to give it a try.

It shouldn’t be a mystery that this was based off a hentai game. Which was based on another popular bishoujo game which shares a similar name. Sequel to the first, it has been the culprit that stole the sleep of countless nerds that played the game and angered many more when the anime did not follow the Kotori storyline. The story here takes place a half a century after Da Capo and second season.

Da Capo II features characters related to some of heroines from the first. Which was obviously done because they were the favourites in the first. Great marketing isn’t it? “No need to change their appearance too much! People will buy it.” And they did.

Now that all being out of the way. I could be one of those anime blogs where I post a crap load of screenshots of the episode but I think I will pass… I am too lazy for that. I will say that I thought that the first episode was somewhat average. I will continue watching the rest of the series just to see a beach episode. I really don’t have much more to say. I’m writing a post just as I finished watching Clannad and how much I thought it was awesome. But I do have the sudden urge to play the game now though. I might try to watch the second season again. If only I had the time to spare. Damn you school!
