I’m Still Alive

Another month, another update. Just one more month left before I get back into the daily routine of having to wake up early and late night procastration on reports.

I haven’t done most of the things I wanted to do when I made my list a few months ago. Laziness preveils once again. I was too lazy to goto the anime convention which was just last weekend (and I didn’t have the the money). I’ve been practicing on and off with guitar. My WordPress theme is still on mockup stage. I didn’t attempt to improve my Chinese or pick up Japanese. How uneventful.

I got around to playing some of my eroges. I managed to finish Kagetsu Tohya after 2 months of idle time. Kagetsu Tohya has to be one of the most frustrating games to go through with the whole “repeating the same day” stuff. A good game nonetheless and gave a bit more insight to the other characters, mainly Ren. Delicious loli. I finished Snow Sakura in two days. A rather nice game. The entire cast is somewhat loveable. I think that each path is well written and had some hot ero scenes. No real difficulty in this game. Unlike some of the Type-Moon games where one choice and lead you to death. And now, I am in the middle of playing Princess Lover. Seika is pretty hot. I felt motivated to play this one when I started to watch the anime a few weeks ago. I like each character and the ero scenes are also very hot but it seems extremely dragged out. I already have two or three more queued up to play but I’m notorious for putting things off. I’ve also been playing a bit of Civilizations 4 but it’s only because one of my internet nakama was bored and I felt sorry for him. Sad face.

This anime season is a little better than last. I’m following a few more this time around. I couldn’t say the same for the last though. Princess Lover, Canaan, and Bakemonogatari. I’m quite surprised at how Princess Lover has been like so far. I think it’s quite a decent harem anime. Though it doesn’t seem to follow the eroge at all. Though it would be quite hard to do so. Just one of those anime adaptations. Canaan has a strange appeal to me. I can’t quite put my finger on it but I will keep watching this. Bakemongatari has to be the best anime this season. It’s so different and has some strange occult thing going. Plot progresses very slow but character development is paced quite well.

I would be playing BlazBlue right now if I had my stick but I looks like I will have to wait a few more days. The game is extremely fun and I seriously would like to improve my game but doing so on a controller pad is very rage inducing. Especially playing Rachel. My friends expect me to perform well at tournaments but with one being only two or three weeks ago. I strongly doubt I will be tournament ready with very little practice. The guys hope to generate a lot of hype. I would like to do well at BlazBlue. I don’t think I will be entering the SF4 tournament since I’m total ass at the game. KoF12 doesn’t seem very interesting so I won’t be playing that.

This next month is going to be quite interesting for me. A friend from out of town is coming in for two weeks and I hope to chill with him before him leaving. Let’s see what happens in August. Ugh.. the pain of having to make my schedule for next term..
