Ai-Kon 2010

Ok, I originally wrote this post up about a week ago but you know… stuff happens and I get extremely lazy. I felt that it would be a complete waste for me to throw this post away since I did spend a great amount of time writing this up.

It has been a few years since I last went to an anime convention and a lot longer to this particular one. Thanks to some motivation by some friends, I finally got around to going this year.

I was hoping to get a coloured badge since it was a weekend pass but apparently low budget or something. I also don't like the mascot girl that much. Too shoujo.

To be totally honest, I thought this year was going to be terrible. I was a bit surprised at the quality of many of the cosplayers this year. One of the things I enjoy doing is take pictures of and with cosplayers. Usually I tend to get people who carry props around to do a stupid pose. It’s what I do, I have fun that way.

Persona 4 Review

I finally beat the game.

Completion Time: 103 hours 46 minutes.

Now I can have to look back at the game and compare it to it’s predecessor, Persona 3 FES. Most of the stuff here will sound generally the same as anywhere else from an official review site except that I know what the hell I’m talking about. As much fun as I had with P4, I was quite disappointed in a few things about the game. But before that, here is my analysis of the game and every other thing about it.

A hell of a lot of spoilers here. Since I do not have a TV capture card yet. I will just throw in random Persona 4 pictures I find from the internet.

Outlook on 2009

A new year, a new school term, a new season of anime. Having entered the new years pissed drunk and ironically with a more focused mind. I have a few things planned with this blog and with my hobbies… whether or not it will get done this year… We will see… I’ve already taken a few initiatives to make sure it happens.

This is more of a personal blog post more than any thing so reader beware. There is a few cheesy parts so don’t expect too much.

2008 Year End Update

Normally, this post should have been before the New Years but whatever. One of the reason why I make so few posts is because I feel that I need to get a picture to put with every post I make.. especially if it is from an anime. I usually get so lazy to do that and well.. it goes on from there.. I will attempt to get some more material out in the next days and maybe weeks. Possibly around the time when more anime comes out. I just hope something good comes out this winter… the current line up doesn’t look too interesting.

There has been a few good anime last year. Particularly this fall season. I’ve complied a short list of the ones I truly enjoyed.

Looking Back at Matantei Loki Ragnarok

Rather than spending my time wisely and study on this fine Saturday. I decide to make yet another blog post.


These last few days, I’ve been re watching Matantei Loki Ragnarok. It may not be the most popular or liked among the general population but I rank it high up there as one of my top 5. Though that isn’t saying much since I have no idea what my other 4 would be… maybe Genshiken as one of them. One of those hidden gems I would say.

With the new anime season just starting and many warping up as well. People are scrabbling and a flood of content is being released and saturating the otaku blogsphere. Several great looking series coming up. I might to a first impressions of it but for now, I introduce a new segment to my blog where I (re) watch some old animes and write a little bit about it. Then spam a bunch of pictures afterwards.
