I don’t think I will change themes for a long time since this is pretty sweet. Now if I will only make use of this blog…

My random thought process right now is making it hard to make a post that is sequencial so it will be kind of all over the place.

I’ve been mostly reading 4komas and doujins the last month. It has been a nice way to pass time when you’re bored. The Touhou related ones are usually very funny… Following whatever danbooru has to offer. I also download Type-Moon/Tsukihime related ones… mostly by Hiroyuki. Very enjoyable but since it’s an old series… it’s doubtful anything new will ever show up.

I started to practice guitar more seriously. Slowly but surely, I’ve been improving.. Lots of practice put into play even the easiest of songs. I hope to be able to shred like this someday…

I got the impression that many people started to play guitar because of K-ON! However, that isn’t my motivation. It was because my friends encouraged me to play Jumper by Third Eye Blind after watching the Yes-man movie. I was put up a challenge with someone else to see who can play better at the end of the summer. We’re suppose to work on vocals as well but I say screw that. I already found the song I’m going to use and I will probably post a youtube when the time comes so everyone can laugh at me… It was just further motivation for me to keep going. Learning how to play an instrument has greatly appreciate music and the amount of hardwork people put into playing a musical instrument.

As for my gamer status… I’m playing Valkyria Chronicles, very good game. It was a total pain to find a copy of it though. The game has been discontinued and the only hope was to find a used copy. I got to thank a friend of mine to holding it at his EB.

I also started a second playthrough of Persona 4, it’s a great game.. why not? I will try and get the 100% social links and compendium this time around. Been playing a bit of Street Fighter 4 but haven’t really been motivated to get better mostly because I don’t have a stick. I preorded BlazBlue, the one game I want to get good at no matter what. I want a stick before that comes out. The guy hasn’t got around to make one yet… he’s been busy and I’m sort of getting anxious. I’m debating whether or not I should buy the SMT game for the PS2… I was interested in it a few months ago but I’m not sure anymore. L4D is fun and I reached a milestone with some of my friends just recently.

I think I’ll go play some Persona 4 and then start working on that theme. I’ve been putting it off for a while.

Many things I need to get done. I have a few drafts almost ready to publish. A gallery is being held off for a bit since I am not sure whether or not Coppermine is the best one for me. Just very lazy to do it. Mostly been watching anime… Amazing isn’t it?!

Let’s see if I will get a stream of posts over the next few days.

Now is the spring time of youth and summer is just around the corner. Which many people are going out to have their own beach episode… possibly two. Darking that pale radiation tanned skin. And some possibly attending a convention (or two).

So why have I neglect this blog empty for such a long time?

One of the reasons why I neglected it for so long is because I started to play Ragnarok Online again. Not the brightest move I made but it has made me never to want to play any sort of grind game ever again. I devoted a lot of time into the game and my guild only to see it fail.

I also quit DOMO. Also a grind game, linear leveling, decent story, bad guild competition, poor monster AI, cash item shop. The community is full of bad players which caused most of my guild to quit. I’m going to quote one of my friends.

As far as I’m concerned, We’ve already reached end game. Our rivals [guilds] try to beat us through levels and failed. We’ve already beat them in a team duel when they were higher level.

I decided to get back into Guild Wars and play it more casually. Less grind oriented, PvP is a little more organized, active devolopers, and events (even though many of them are lame). I look forward to playing Guild Wars 2 when it comes out and hope to compete at a competitive level.

I could say I was busy with school. I got my ass kicked this year because of RO.

Why did I decide to come back and blog once again?

Well one reason is because I get messages in my inbox saying that I got a comment on whatever post I made. Many of them makes me raise an eyebrow since the posts were several months old. Made me realize that most of my posts were filled with ignorance.

I intend on setting up a gallery very soon to host pictures of a friend’s trip to Anime North. So it made me want to work on my site once again. I will also attend a few conventions and take many pictures to add to the gallery as well.

Finally, with my constant nagging. I can finally use a theme I’m not too ashamed of. Won’t be super original since everything on the internet is somewhat stolen from somewhere else. I’m a fan of minimalistic design so it would be something that. I already got the mock up.

The direction I will take with this blog will pretty much remain the same. Emphasis on video games and anime.

What am I doing now?

Initially, I started this blog to make it anime related. Now I barely watch anime at all. Nothing this season really catches my eye and the stuff I would normally watch is in fillers or just haven’t gotten around to follow those update sites to download stuff like D.Gray Man.

I am not entirely bored out of my mind though. I still have my good old PS2. Last week I picked up Mana Khemia. I was rather fortunate to grab the last copy in the store. Fun game. A few days ago, I decided to get Persona 3 FES. The expansion game I’ve been waiting so long for. I also saw that there was brand new copies of Katamari on the shelf and I just couldn’t resist.

Cheap games. $40 for Mana Khemia, $30 for Persona 3 FES, and $10 for Katamari. Great deals. All these games has some very good music and soundtracks.

So now I got some sort of entertainment for a few weeks. Mana Khemia for another 30 or so hours of game play. Persona 3 FES, new game, 100+ hours. Katamari when I feel like doing something that doesn’t require much thinking.

Now I’m off to watch random stuff on nicovideo and then play something.

I have come across this very annoying bug or something like that where my RSS feed is not being updated on SnapShots/Previews. After I decided to change my perma-link structure. It hasn’t been working correctly. Finding nothing on the WP forums that could help with that. I’m going to change it back to the old permalink structure if I can’t figure it out soon.Another thing I have to do would be to place a featured feed section on the new theme I plan to use. That is pretty much the only thing I got to get done before the transition. I still have to talk to my.. coding adviser for suggestions before I do anything.Updating to a new version of WP is always a pain.
After I get that done, I can stop being lazy and start posting some more. I already have some material ready to be used.
